SLC 2011- Circling the Wagons 01: 1st General Session with Carol Lynn Pearson, Lee Beckstead and David Zabriskie

The 1st annual Circling the Wagons conference was held in November of 2011.  The goal of the conference was to create a space where LGBTQ or SSA individuals and their families and allies can gather to acknowledge, explore and honor shared experiences. In the 1st general session:

  • Lee Beckstead Ph.D. discusses his experience as a therapist to LGBTQ Mormons
  • David Zabriskie & the Conference Chorus perform an original composition based on Carol Lynn Pearson’s poem called “Pioneers”
  • Carol Lynn Pearson speaks about the “Gay/Lesbian Hero’s Journey”
