Now I appreciate that any number of Christian people will object at this point with words like 'abomination' and 'unnatural' - claiming that the Bible teaches clearly that all homosexual activity (including that between consenting adults) is an obscenity before God. My contention at this point is simply that even if this were true it wouldn't detract from the value of gay marriage. For the issue here is not whether homosexual activity is desirable or undesirable or morally offensive or anything of the sort.;*

Bye for now

Such a refreshing, enjoyable interview. Tina sounds like such a beautiful, free spirit Oh, and I really dig the short, short hair style, Tina! Cool. Oh, one thing else: "pentacostalism" is actually spelled "pentecostalism." The proof-reader and editor in me just could not resist pointing this out. LOL.

Now on to Part 1...

Such a wonderful and heart rendering interview and a true revelation indeed after much soul searching and heartache. Dear David, although you discovered the amazing truth that your sexuality is absolutely acceptable by a loving God and completely compatible with the gospel of Jesus Christ, it is obviously totally at odds with current church policies. Therefore David, how can you be honestly happy in an organisation that seems to be so obviously a corruption of that wonderful Truth. Although you say that you have had callings and that you feel you are more accepted by the members, do you honestly feel that you are totally accepted?
If you do find and fall in love, and marry and live together with your husband, do you still believe you would enjoy full fellowship with the church and its leaders?
As church policy stands presently, you and your husband would clearly face church discipline. So how can you be happy with an organisation that still discriminates against your love and sexuality? After all, you discovered that the Gospel and your sexuality are as one, but it is patently obvious that the church is still completely opposed to this wonderful Truth.
